South Quay Shed - Whitstable Harbour
A series of 4 week workshops held throughout the year, on Tuesdays 10.00am to 1.00pm

Each workshop will explore a range of subjects, including natural forms and the sea. Inspired by objects, images and the harbour location. Suitable for beginners and those wanting to develop their art skills.
March 2026
Adult Drawing Course - introduction to pencil and charcoal
will be held on Tuesdays, from 3rd to 24th March 2026
at 10am to 1pm.
Exploring the fundamentals of drawing: mark making, line, tone, unitary measurements, and negative space. We will use the unique location overlooking Whitstable harbour and a variety of objects and images as inspiration. Materials are included: pencil, charcoal, ink and paper, although you may want to bring along a sketchbook.
Set on the upper level of South Quay Shed (with easy access lift and stairs), Refreshments are available from a variety of outlets.
Future Art Courses
May 2026
Continuing throughout the year at South Quay Shed,
workshops will include watercolour, acrylic, pastels, collage
and 3D construction. All abilities are welcome and are a great way to introduce you to new materials and techniques.
Watercolour course will commence 5th May 2026.
